Last.fm is a website I have signed up for and I am very pleased with it.
You select artists you already like and the huge Scrobbler Database matches artists that other people have listened to that also listen to the artist you have selected.
It automatically introduces you to new artists that sound similar. The massive database makes similar artists revelant.
Last.fm has a feature they call Audio Scrobbler that stores all of your listened to music and recommends new artists to you all the time.
I find countless new artists in it all the time. It also gives you links to buy it in iTunes if you want to. Last.fm has almost every song I know and more songs that I didn't.
When you search for a song or artist it automatically searches for the most revelent by spelling. Then you see a list of the Top Albums and Tracks with how many users have listened to them.
Every song has atleast 30 seconds of the song for you to preview and other songs have Full Track Previews. All songs are available for full listening in the radio, but nowhere else.
Its ease of use makes the site very slick.

Skreemr is a website that is reliable for finding DRM-Free music for free. its minimal design and ease of use makes it one of my useful sites. the setup is like a Google search engine with an advance search feature that lets you sort through diffrent qualitys of music and easily eliminate the songs that dont meet the criteria. With its rank feature you can see what songs meet your search closest. There is also a player on each song that lets you hear the song you are using before you download it.
